INTRODUCE YOURSELF.

My name is Patricia J T. Yusingco. People call me Pat or Patrice but my close friends insist on calling me Patis, so I let them. I grew up in the playful streets of Metro Manila. I blow out candles every 27th of March and I am a college student taking up BS Pharmacy in University of Santo Tomas. I am a Filipino, yes, loud and proud, albeit all the third world issues and the world's corrupt countries' ranking. I'm also of Chinese descent, my father's father is full Chinese, kind of cool but I didn't get to see him and most of my grandparents for that matter. (all have been dead long before I was conceived except for my mom's mother)

I'd like to think I can write but I just do it for leisure, and I do it to make sense of things that sometimes end up having no sense at all. I would love to write professionally, like as a career in the future, but I have yet to achieve that. I'm a self proclaimed bibliophile, cinephile. I like books as a whole and I also love it when books have justified movie adaptations. I enjoy biographies, in fact I almost always am on wiki searching for artist's life stories and whatnot. I can talk movies all day everyday.

Listening to music gives me a sense of good vibes for the day ahead. I try to appreciate all kinds of music but my ears can't seem to handle the hardcore metal screaming type. Scouting for good old soul music makes me happy- electro-indie pop are my go to genre aside from the usual melodramatic songs.

My brain cannot stop from having a conversation with itself. You see? daydreaming and talking to myself are some of my hobbies.

I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life (quote from Sylvia Plath), that's why when I grow up  I want to be a magazine editor. I also want to be a radio host, a film critic/analyst, a wildlife filmmaker, tour guide in Italy, an interior designer, forensic expert, family doctor, a triathlete, and have a travel show of my own, although I think what I really need for now is a long enough attention span to get through school. I am as ambitious as anyone can be. Oh, and I am also a Slytherin turned Ravenclaw, (according to Pottermore) if that matters.
